I LIKE BIRDS

Colonnade House, Worthing

My solo show at Colonnade House wove together all aspects of my artwork on the theme of Birds. I've been drawing and painting them for many years in the form of merchandise, children's books and personal illustration projects. As well as showing original illustrations from my archive this was an opportunity to make new work.

 

I've created pigeons using my own handmade botanical inks and bright collaged chickens with found paper and old prints. I also built an Alphabet from birds, a repeat pattern and bird-drawing instructions using basic shapes. Here are some photos from the show!
