The Artist

I’m Sarah Edmonds, a self taught illustrator based by the sea in Worthing. Originally from the Welsh borders, I spent much of my childhood adventuring around farmyards and forests and this connection to nature remains a strong influence on my work.

 

Over the past 8 years I have worked as a freelance illustrator on projects with publishers, museums, national parks and charities. Alongside this my collection of playful illustrated gifts has grown and is sold online and by a growing list of stockists. In 2021 my partner Matt joined me in the business to turn my solo venture into a family operation!

The Products

 

In all my work I love to make people giggle and embrace their mischievous side. My paper goods and gift collections are especially popular with garden, bird and word enthusiasts, and have quickly become bestsellers.

 

The journey between idea and product always begins with crayons, pens and paper. The artworking process blends a unique hand drawn quality with crisp digital design. The bright colours and textures of each illustration, alongside my signature typography have created a strong voice for my collections to make them stand out.

 

Once designed, I work with several UK based companies to produce my gift items, packaging them in a simple and attractive way to sell at affordable prices. I work with a fantastic fulfilment warehouse who process and ship all of my online and stockist orders. This in turn allows me to focus on the design and promotion of my collections, alongside establishing new retail partnerships.
